For this home (originally built in the 1980’s) our brief was to modernise the home throughout. All of the rooms were in need of a fresh new look. Our clients had originally purchased this home as an investment, but were nearing retirement, and wished to make it their permanent address. They researched a number of builders, before selecting us due to our proven track record as an expert home renovation builder.
With a keen interest in Interior design, our client was eager to stamp her personality and style on their home. So client involvement in the building process was of high importance. Many meetings were conducted in the home, before and during construction, to discuss options for modifications, and the conversion of an old study into a butler’s pantry was, for our clients, one of the most important alterations. Wayne, our home renovation builder, also advised them how they could improve the layout of the master bedroom and WIR, something simple, but which has greatly added to the functionality of these rooms. Our clients also had a desire for a timber floor, and selected a durable satin finish for their beautiful Tasmanian Oak flooring.
This home, built on a sloping block, had a substantial space under the floor, at the rear, so we created a mudroom to minimise mess in the main part of the home. As retirement was approaching, this busy professional couple, wanted low maintenance finishes, to enhance their lifestyle, so they selected aluminium stacker doors opening from the kitchen/ family room to the spacious new Red Ironbark decking.
All of this was achieved on a tight deadline, as our clients had already sold their suburban townhouse, and needed the renovation completed before they moved in. What makes us highly respected within the industry as a premium home renovation builder is our experienced project management. This enabled this home renovation in Mount Martha to be completed well before the deadline, within budget and to our high standards.
